With Tower Campground being the only campground in the area, there tends to be a lot of short and long term campers throughout the season. Though it can be fun, it can also be very challenging. Winters in South Dakota can produce temperatures below 0, and that is not counting the wind chill. Wind chill can make the temperate feel like -4 or more!
